mst creation

m creating transform for autocad for various countries using wise 6.0, m hiding dialogs while creating mst. i wanted to know whether the wasy to know the installation is still in progress or some error occured. task manager is not helping me a g8 deal same with the installlog [/L*v ]

Please help ......

sorry i guess i couldnt make my point clear ... waht my problem is when i try to run the mst with hidden dialog i couldnt make out whts goin in installation process so if i get error i dont come to know what stage ..... in short i wanted to know debugging tech for mst and msi as well .......

What specifically is it that you are trying to modify with the transform? Dialogs can be hidden by using the /qn switch (or similar) on the end of the command line when installing the package. The application event viewer is normally the first/best place to look for MSI install errors.

I'm not completely familiar with Wise, so apologies if I have misunderstood the issue.

U can always use WISE command line builder and choose the options given to u. if u want minimal UI, its there for u to use so that u can seee th progress of the application with minimal user interaction

here is ans ... in wise .. you can go to debug window and run it before u install in slient mode, or in new wise thre are few other methogs to test the same ....

m adding it just in case i forget abt it late ;)
