Nested MSI

Hi!

i have msi wich needs nested msi too,i deside that, that it could be better way to install drivers using vendor msi attached as nested,so i create taht nested msi,but after instalations it takes of my original instllas icon. where should i look in that nested msi that it dont do that, because i instaled with out that nested it shows an icon normal,but when i attach that nested it destroys it. please help

OK I'll help... don't use nested MSIs - they are a pain in the backside and it's bad practice...

but what then i should use, is there diferent way to install those two msi, like not using 3 msi installation?

Your deployment must be able to handle pre-requsiste programs...

If not then a simple vb script / wise script or even .cmd file will enable you to chain the installations together.
