Netezza JDBC Install
HI All,
I am working on Netezza pacakge, which has 3 exe that installs the base package , odbc and jdbc.
I installed the base and odbc install silently using the silent comman -i silent for both.
For Jdbc i tried the same, for some reason it hangs on SCCM install, but on manual install it worked.
SO I did a capture for just the jdbc driver install.
SO the msi installs perfect on manual install,
but on SCCM i get a error on the log file.
Below is the error code.
======
Netezza' error: MsiOpenDatabase failed with return code '110'.
2014.10.19 14:51:21.048 (Sequencer) Install completed with return code -9998 : 'Error during validation'
2014.10.19 14:51:21.084 (Launcher) Return value from BMO.TaskSequencer.DLL was -9998
=====
If any one could help, I really appreciate it.
THanks much

1. Check the application event log
2. Get a verbose MSI log for your install.
3. Bear in mind that SCCM installs with a service account with no access to user profiles. Therefore if your capture installs any files to the user profile, it is going to fail as the MSI will not be able to find the user directories.
