Nortel Agent Desktop Display

Hello,

I'm working with a client that would like to install Nortel Agent Desktop Display ver 07.03.01 via SCCM. I've been trying to find a silent switch that actually works, as the setup.exe /s doesn't make the install silent. The installsheild version of the .exe is 2.03 (super old), and I've tried every switch known to man. I've also run the setup and captured the .msi file it creates in the temp directory, and that won't install by itself at all. I'm pretty limited in my options as far as having them upgrade to a newer version (if one exists), and they do not have the luxury of application packaging software.

I'd like to be able to silently install this .exe so I can create a package in sccm for them.

Any help would be appreciated!

that won't install by itself at allCheck the MSI's Custom Actions. I'm pretty sure you'll find it tests for a property ISSETUPDRIVEN. If it's there, just add 'ISSETUPDRIVEN=1' to your MSIExec command line or transform.

This should cover most of the switches along with what VBScab mentions.

setup.exe -r or /r to record

If there is a setup.ini, you might have to use that to pass commands to the msi.

Although for a different product, these instructions might help.
