Office 2003 GP problems
I am dploying Office 2003 via Group Policy. I did the following:
Created Administrative Install Point.
Tested Install Package by executing PRO11.MSI - Successful
Created GPO, assigned to computers.
Added R + E permission for Domain Computers on installation share. Also Authenticated Users.
Created Test OU and Linked GPO to it.
The installation fails. The Event log reveal Event ID 102 " THe installation source for this product is not available...."
The appmgmt.log reveals the Install Failed with error 1612, as does the MSI log. It appears to fail after the policy is applied.
Any clues? I was thinking it is a permissions issue, but I believe that assigning the Domain Computers the R + E rights was the requirement.
Thanks.
