Office 2007 "Setup cannot find required..."
When I try to install Office 2007, it comes up with the following message: "Setup cannot find the required setup controller file. Either there was a network error, an error reading from the CD, DVD, or other installation media, or a problem with the package you downloaded." Why do I get this message? I am unable to insall Office 2007. :(
Do you think this conflicts with other MS products? Currently I have these main programs installed, Microsoft Visual Basic Express, Microsoft Visual C# Express, Vegas Pro 8 and Photoshop Cs3.
Please help me get past this problem. :(

You need to add arguments to the Setup.EXE command line. There is a TON of stuff in the 'Package KB' here on AppDeploy http://itninja.com/link/office-2007-setup-properties

im getting the same problem. Can anyone shed some light on how exactly to get past this problem? I looks into the link provided above, but im still completely lost. Thanks.

I had the same problem. Instead of using magiciso I used poweriso. That sorted the problem out! Andy.

Oh, I think that by your disc and maybe your dvd rom are not good. Windows can't find file required to run set up. check your cd and dvd room.

i can't seem to find movie maker in my windows 7 and microsoft 2007 suite... how do i get it??
