Including MS Office updates as part of deployment

I know that we have to customize office application using OCT and for that we have to launch setup.exe/admin and what is the setup file

is that the setup of office and the updates folder will come in office folder by default?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking for but the patches/updates you should put in a folder called updates this is also where you should put your msp file generated but the OCT.

If Updates folder is not there.  Create one. It should be there by default though.

I hope you are customizing Office 2010, Update folder comes with all Office 2010 applications.. Any patches placed in this folder will be applied during initial install.

So you have to create your .msp file with your customization and place it in update folder..
