Oracle 11.2 client German
Hello,
i've got a Problem to create an responsefile in the oracle 11.2g Client Version (german)
i used the same commands which are working in the oracle 11.1 Client Version
I also found an article of oracle 10g client, that i have to change an argument in the oraparm.ini to create an response file in german versions.
but it doesn't work anyway.
I tried to create the file on a VM with Xp and on a VM with Win 7
Can somebody help me please?
Cheers
Sven

what's the problem? does it not create a file? not with correct language? what command did you use for 11.1? .......
have you read this:

the respone file can't create. the file also can't be created in englisch but the version we have is the German version of oracle.
The Command i used in 11.1 was:
i also changed the NLS... from TRUE to FALSE in the oraparm.ini ...
this was a change we have to make in the 10g version
setup.exe -record -destinationfile "C:\custom.rsp"
and yes i've readed the dokument

I've not actaully done 11g but this would suggest the recording of response files has changed:

A DBA clued me into an "easy" way to install Oracle these days: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/sbequette/archive/2010/08/12/oracle-install-made-easy.aspx
hopefully i can have a lot simpler intructions soon.
