Oracle 11g Client
Hi all,
I am having trouble packaging Oracle 11g Client, I am using Admin Studio - Repackager to capture the setup.exe.
At first it seems to work, but when i compared files and folders with the original install -it was missing alot of files and folders.
I know Oracle has a silent install, create response file.
Does anybody know if its possible to package Oracle 11g or only the silent install will work?
Why I want it in an MSI format because it will be install via Citrix, and unfortunately Citrix only takes MSI. The silent install is still viable for Citrix but then we would have to manually install it on each server.
Does anyone have an idea?
Looked everywhere online, no one has done it yet.

I have covered Oracle stuff here in the past alot. A search under my id should show a number of hidden gotcha's with repackaging oracle particularly in relation to Oracle homes.
I also posted a few scripts to automate the repair of these issues, they were named OracleRegfix.vbs and OracleMSIFix.vbs maybe a google search will get them.
I also found that packaging Oracle (earlier versions) just seemed to work better on 2003 server dont know why it just does.
