Oracle Jinitiator - disable file caching
I have repackaged an Oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.9 Client which installs fine. However, by design, the Jinitiator client defaults its file cache to C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile%\Oracle Jar Cache.
This can be manually amended by going to Control Panel > Jinitiator 1.3.1.9 > Cache - the location can then be altered or the file caching function can be turned off, forcing the files to load into memory.
Does anyone know if the cache can be defaulted to 'off' or to a different location within the MSI?
There appears to be no obvious registry key or value to amend?
Any help is appreciated.

I know other people have packaged this app, including the guy who authors these pages:

Have a read.
Other than that, see if you can do a setup capture with your favorite tool. Or search the registry and/or program files for the word cache. It's probably just a regsitry entry.
