packaging 5 PPC cabs into one MSI
Hi All! Please excuse me if there is an obvious answer to this, as it is only my third PPC based package I ever built and I am honestly unable to find any good resources on packaging PPC apps.
I need to install 5 PocketPC 2003 pre-built cabs and one custom. I would like to use Wise Package Studio to perform this operation.
Ideally I would like to put all 5 cabs into one msi and have that msi pushed via SMS server to the client PC's for active-sync users.
The problem is that it appears that there is no way to import the cabs into package studio. I would have to open up each cab individually in the mobile package editor, and manually extract, rename and then add each file, regkey and shortcut into the mobile devices page of a new MSI.
Is there an easier way of getting pre-built cabs into the WSI so I can distribute a single MSI to install all PPC cabs. Maybe I could build a custom action that will just install all cabs?
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Todd
