Packaging dotnetframe2.0 with Wise

Does anyone know if dotnetframe could be packaged? I need to package that with WISE to be sent out in MSI.

You'll have the answer at http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail.asp?id=645.
extract, make change through an transform and you will be able to install through AD, SMS or whavever distribution tool you're using.
Just make sure to add the USING_EXUIH property with a value of 1 and ReallySuppress to prevent the reboot.

You wouldn't want to repackage .NET Framework 2.0 as it's already an MSI (it has an executable "wrapper", so it's not immediately obvious, though)

Have you tried the Package KnowledgeBase article for guidance ?

After extracting the MSI msiexec.exe /i netfx.msi USING_EXUIH=1 REBOOT=ReallySuppress should do it or having the property defined in an MST instead.

AngelD,
Thanks for the response, but I am not sure what you are asking me to try. Should I just extract, using the string and the MSI could pushed out for install? Please advice.

Thanks.
