Hi Dan,
I wasn't able to attend last year, but I have attended it two years ago. According to some colleagues (and presentation sheets I have seen of the sessions) it wasn't that different from the year before, so here's what I think of it:
Most sessions are of low technical level and seem to be aimed at management. Just the usual bla-bla-buy-our-products-or-services-talk. There might be some exceptions, like interesting info about new features in future releases of Admin Studio, Wise (guess we can scrap this one as well), Windows Installer, maybe some app virtualization program... And not to forget: The standard stories you have heard a thousand times: Will cloud computing take over the packaging business or MSI vs. Virtualization. But then again, if you're into this, you've probably heard or read it all before somewhere else.
Bottom line: If you're new to all this, it might be interesting. If you have some years experience in this business, you'll get -really- bored in those sessions.
Nevertheless, I support the concept of the event and I will attend this year, just to catch up with some old colleagues, or maybe some networking.... And hoping the sessions will improve some day!
PS. Keep in mind that besides the Keynotes, most sessions are in Dutch.
PPS. I still have the presentation sheets of last year, if you're interested. They're even less interesting than the sessions, but it's a good impression of what you could expect.
