Packaging NERO 11 VL Standard
Hi Guys,
I am trying to package NERO 11 for a mass deployment but failing to install the software with serial key and the auto update disabled. I also want to un tick the product improvement programme and want to avoid Nero Kwik Media to be installed. I been browsing the whole internet but could not find anything useful. If any of you know how to accomplish this please let me know..

in the MSI "nero.nero11premiumvl.msi" the Property "NERO.INCLUDED_KEY" sets the Serial for silent Installation

to disable the update Dialog that pops up when Nero starts update the apropriate transform file in the folder \applications\burningrom with the following registry key in the Registry Table:
registry 1 Software\Nero\Nero 11\Shared\NeverShowMeAgain PDTRMDR #xffffffffffffff7f CurrentUser
Create a Component and add the Component to FeatureComponent Table too.
To disable automatic update set the Properties:
ISCHECKFORPRODUCTUPDATES 0
NERO.INSTALL_SHOW_UPDATE_NOTIFICATION_CHECKBOX 0
NERO.UPDATE_CHECK_INTERVAL 0
NERO.UPDATE_NOTIFY 0
in nero.nero11premiumvl.msi
To disable the DesktopShortcuts just set the apropriate properties beginning with NERO.INSTALL_DESKTOPSHORTCUT to 0 - JoeC 12 years ago

If you have a volume license version of Nero 11 then Nero support have some batch files they can provide you with.
I had to the same for Nero 10, and had to send them proof of volume license entitlement and they sent through all the information I needed with the batch files.
I also had to agree to not disclose the information, as they are very protective these details, so unfortunately I am unable to provide any specifics.
Once I had the details the package itself was a breeze!
Hope that helps,
