Patching via MSP - double entry in Add/remove programs
Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade an MSI installation by creating an MSP wich will actually update a couple of main application files incl. the main exe but will not touch the INI files modified by each user. The only way I figured I could achieve this is by using MSPs.
So far, so good - I'm using WPS 7.0 SP2 to create the MSP and it does the file update job correctly except one detail: in Add/Remove programs both old and the new product names are visible. Can this be avoided?
Cheers
