PDF Converter Enterprise 7 not creating .iss file, any help on passing answers to installer

Trying to prepare PDF Converter Enterprise 7 for network distribution.  I have run the setup.exe with the -r (record) option to capture install settings.  However, this method does not generate the required iss file.  I have contacted Nuance and their support stated they do not know/have documentation on network installs.  I would like to complete a fully automated (including licensing) installation to deploy across our network.  Anyone have the syntax to be passed in MSI or using a manually created ISS answer file?

Did you look for the setup.iss file in the c:\windows directory?

  • You can also try extracting the archive with 7zip from the orginal exe and then use the setup.exe in the system32 folder to see if it will do what you need - SMal.tmcc 12 years ago

IT has a driver inside it. You can capture it or extract MSI. If you are capturing it then take care of the driver part.
