PDF Creator 9.0.6
Hello,
I try to repackage PDF Creator 0.9.6 in MSI. On a machine that already has an installed printer, my package is working well. On a clean machine, the printer does not appear.
Does anyone have an idea?

The problem appears only on computers that were never installed printer. For the rest, it works. If i install any printer. Delete it. And install my msi, it's works. So I think I have good registry keys.
I also restart the service "spooler.exe". (sorry for my english, i speak french and my english isn't very good).

Hi Knarf,
use "innounp" http://innounp.sourceforge.net/ to expand the "PDFCreator-0_9_6_setup.exe" file.
Then have a look at the "install_script.iss" file. In there you can see all the steps, which the original setup takes to install.
So, you can compare the original setup with your package.
This is not the easy road, but it results in much more reliable packages.
