Permission required on access for Dameware
Trying to get Dameware deployed in an enterprise environment so that when a user remotes on to another machine, it will ask for permission to access at all times. Worked fine until deployed to a test user via SCCM, where things seem to have gone south. Registry keys are set but when accessing a remote machine in a workgroup, using the local admin of the workstation, it just gained access straight instead of asking for access, which is a must. Any ideas?

Does dameware have a package builder where you can set all the options you need before deployment? If not then how are you setting the registry key for "ask before giving access"? - akmagnum 6 years ago

If Dameware is connecting as any type of admin it will not ask for permission to connect. Non-admin users will always have to get the end-user to accept the connection.

Brilliant, I'll convey this to the team using it and they can take it from there. Thanks! - Kaladin26 6 years ago
