Power BI and KACE

I found this article https://www.itninja.com/blog/view/power-bi-desktop-setup-for-visual-kace-reports

I followed the steps and got Power BI to connect tot he KACE database but when I browse the data is the ORG1:MACHINE table but it only lists 31 records. There should be WAY more than that. Any ideas what might be going on?

  • Does your appliance have Orgs enabled? If so, are your the bulk of your machines in ORG1 or another ORG? - chucksteel 6 years ago
    • Its a possibility, I do have to select the right one when using the web interface. I just didnt see any other ORG#'s when I was browsing the database with MySQL Workbench. Is it possible to have only specific ORGs set up with database access? That could explain what I only see ORG1. - fletch8527 6 years ago
      • Yes, each ORG will have its own reporting user. ORG1 is R1, ORG2 is R2, etc. I don't have orgs on my appliance but I would assume the access needs to be configured for each one. - chucksteel 6 years ago
