Problem depoying JAVA with GPOs
Hi,
I copied the msi file from my documents and settings folder after installing Java JRE 6.05. I created an mst file with orca for this msi. In this mst file, I changed under Property :
AutoUpdateCheck=0
EULA=1
IExplorer=1
InstallIntl=1 (also tried to 0 because I'm not sure what it does)
JavaUpdate=0
JU=0
SysTray=0
When I run msiexec /i java.msi Transforms=java.mst, it works perfectly.
When I deploy it thru GPOs, JAVA is installed and it seems ok, there's a java in the control pannel and the checkbox are checked for IE (inside Java Control Pannel). The problem is that when I need JAVA on a web page, IE says there's no JAVA. If I go in IE options, Advanced, Java (Sun), the correct version is displayed and checked. I also checked the Internet Security tab and I can run java applets in my IE.
Anyone can help me ? I really don't understand why it's not working....
Thanks,
Alexandre.
