Problem with Admin Studio in Windows 7
Trying to do some of our first packaging in Windows 7 with Admin Studio 10. Getting a fatal problem where if we have the rights opened up on C:\ProgramData\Application Data, when it hits the pointer (Junction) for Application Data within Application Data folder, it just creates more directories of itself ad infinitum (i.e. C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Application Data\....), which Admin Studio then chokes on due to it hitting the 255 character mark. But, if we go back to W7 default build, those folders are clamped down, including a bunch of others like "all users desktop", etc. And the capture fails there too. Anyone else run into this? There are a bunch of postings regarding that App Data folder replicating itself if you take ownership of it in W7, but our apps need to write to it though. It's a catch 22 at this point for us. Anyone else running into this? Something obvious I'm missing here? Thanks!
