put command line switches in the msi
Hey im new to all this packaging stuff, i have a package from the software vendor, in this case its rightfax
it has its own MSI, so no configuration is necessary, however there are command line switches which will determine what is installed.
msiexec.exe /i RFAX\RFClient.msi /qb AddLocal=FaxUtil,FU_English, AllUsers=1 SPROTOCOL="TCP"
This will silently install just the RFClient without all the other crap.
I dont think you could use the command if the software is pushed out through GPO....
so what i want to know is how to change the msi, or what i have to do to just install the features i want without using the command line
ive got Admin Studio 6
thanks
