QuarkXPress 5.01 change Installation Directory in MSI/MST-File ????
Hy together,
I want to deploy QuarkXPress with the original MSI-File and 1031.mst file that was stored on the original Installation CD.
The Installation was going well, but QuarkXPress was installed on the Standard installation path C:\Programme\Quark\QuarkXPress....
Now I must change the default installation path into C:\Prog\Tools\QuarkXPress
I have edit the 1031.mst file and have set a new Property "INSTALLDIR" with the Value "C:\Prog\Tools\QuarkXPress"
After i deploy the application with the new generated mst file, the application was also installed in the default installation path and not in the path that i have set in the MST file.
Have anybody an idea where i must do the changes in the MSI/MST file that the application was installed in the other directory ????
Thanks

My guess, is that you'll need to change any install path in both the directory table and the corresponding registry table entries in the MSI. The registry entries have Create DIR entries that actually do the create folder (usually the last entry in the key structure). Change those and you'll be in good shape. Does that make sense?
Hope this helps :)
