QuickTime Creating an empty folder
I'm working on creating a silent install for quicktime using the INI file as noted in several posts here. What seems to be happening is this:
1) It ignores the ConnectionSpeed listed in the INI file and
2) It creates an empty folder with the name of "i" or "y" in the root directory of where the silent install is being run from. (very ODD!)
I've tried changing the INI several ways. This does not seem to happen if I actually walk through the install the "old fashioned" way (next/next, etc.). I'd really like to use the native install because it will update the users we who currently have an older version.
Repackaging is a very last resort because all earlier versions that our users have are in the native Apple/VISE installer - not to mention there are 10 versions "out there" on our network. ANY help appreciated!
Thanks!
Melissa
