Repacakging WinRAR Archiver
Hi,
I am trying to repackage (Setup Capture) WinRAR Archiver 3.93. After repackaging using WISE PACKAGE STUDIO, the context menu handlers dont appear when I right click on any folder. Those settings are not getting captured.
However, the raw media (winrar.exe) is working fine. When I install it using the given winrar.exe it works fine but repackaging it and installing it using the created MSI is giving me this problem.
I came up with a workaround; I exported the context menu settings to a .REG file and imported that .REG file in my package. I tried installing after this but for the settings to get applied shortcut has to be launched once which cannot be done during the deployment of the package and also when these settings get applied shortcuts which are not required and removed in the package (Console RAR Manual and WINRAR Help) reappear. This is not a solution. I am stuck here
Any inputs would be appreciated.
Thank you
Hitesh
