Response Transform, MST

Hello,

I am looking for the registry or file, the msi mui searched to check the office installation done.Which properties, i have to set to bypass the office controle installation ?

This is the Launch Condition, which check it , but when i delete the LC , no good deal.

REMOVE~="ALL" OR CHECKINSTALLORDER="FALSE" OR NOT NOVERSION200 OR ACTION~="ADMIN"
Please install Microsoft Office 2003 and then run [ProductNameNonQualified] setup again.

This is Custom Action, which check too , despite remove  it, the Reponse Transform faild because, Office is not installed.

It's not clear what you are trying to achieve here, but I suspect that you are attempting to install a Multi User Interface (MUI) for Office 2003 and it is telling you that you don't have Office installed.

A similar issue is posted on this website: http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/office-2003-standard-multilingual-user-interface-mui-installation-help-74533802.html

As these all come from Microsoft an Internet search of your issue should produce some valid options to try, failing that a call to Microsoft might be in order.

I don't think it would be prudent to start modifying Microsoft supplied installers in an effort to resolve your issue - there will be a fix or information somewhere on a MS KB.

Thanks,

Dunnpy

  • Thanks for your advice. i found a solution. before edit the reponse transform,i have to apply the transform which bypass the check. Is not possible to build a transform for this both ( the reponse and bypass the control ) - egiberne 12 years ago
