Silent Uninstallation Issue
Hi All,
I am working on application(Dosadi EZTwain) which installs with *.exe /q switch(Not complete silent). The uninstallation string for this application is "C:\Windows\*.exe" -u "C:\Programfiles\*.exe".
When i try to unstall this app silently with switches i get a pop up like "*.dll is no longer used.Do u want to uninstall it". If i give Yes or No it pops up for five different dlls.
I tried normal silent switches and others like /S /a /S /q in various combinations. But i am unable to suppress the popups.
Could anyone help me to sort out this problem?

Hi,
I'm not sure if your EXE installer uses a MSI internally, but these messages seem to be shown by custom actions. Usually custom actions run even if there is no UI.
Can you please give us more details about this? Is the installer created by you or by someone else? If it's created by you, how are you showing the messages? If it's created by someone else, I'm not sure if there's something you can do.
Regards,
John
