SMS 2003 OSD error
SMS 2003 OSD error.....
I get the following message on the computer when the computer reboots for the state restore phase.
The operating system installation failed. Please contact your system administrator for assistance. Could not connect to the installation package on
\\servername\SMSPKGD$\SMSPKG\Test00039. The network location cannot be reached.
For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help. (800704CF)
This message will automatically close in 30 minutes. Any ideas what is causing this?

It sounds like either a DNS or WINS issue or permissions. Is this happening only on one computer or all of them?

On all of the machines .. i thought potential issues...
1. Missing NIC drivers on the package ( but already specified in the package when creating cd )
2. Permissions are just fine.. checked it..
3. Incorrect DHCP configuration.. not likely since the cd worked just fine...
Any ideas
