Select New Transform under the Transform menu.
Make your changes.
Select Generate Transform under the Transform menu.

What is the "managed selected"?
Where is the "server name" stored?

I assume here you are referring to Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition (?).

If so, this article (applicable to v9.x, but possibly v8.x as well) should help.

Looks like the property you need to set the SAV parent server is SERVERNAME=<parent server name> - which could be done in the transform, or on the msiexec command line if you prefer.

An alternative would be to make the initial client installation initially unmanaged and then make separate arrangements to copy down the GRC.DAT file from the appropriate server which would trigger conversion from managed to unmanaged. This approach is discussed here

I am working on Symantec Antivirus 10.1.8.8000
During installing Symantec Antivirus., Rtvscan.exe runs for a longer duration
How can I make the installation not to trigger Rtvscan.exe ............... any ideas ?
