Systems Management

It is getting a bit competitive and confusing in the market now with so many Deployment /Systems Management tools in the market.

Is there a possibility of having a board dedicated to Systems Management here?

Bob is intriducing some new categories with the visual update that is coming soon. If he hasn't already thought of that, I am sure he will see this post.

That would make sense. With the tools and downloads areas, several categories make sense- the site will soon break them down into the following groups:

Desktop Management
Event Management
Handheld Management
Installers (EXE)
Installers (MSI)
Installers (Other)
License Management
OS Provisioning
Patch Management
Remote Control
Repackagers (EXE)
Repackagers (MSI)
Repackagers (Other)
Scripting
Server Management
Settings Migration
Software Deployment
Testing and Quality Control
Miscellaneous

As for message boards, a "Systems Management" board might fit well. My only concern is that it may get confusing as to where a question should be posted. That is why the number of forums is small today.

I think systems management is a good forum title that doesn't present to much confusion when seen along side the other forums.

Any other suggestions/comments?

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
