Troubleshooting Package Advertisement
I am working on a Package - MapInfo Professional 7.0.
The application installs and launches successfully (after I've applied the necessary security privileges to the HKLM\Software\Classes and the %ProgramFilesFolder%\%CommonFilesFolder%\InstallShield for USERS.
However, when I do a per machine advertisment "msiexec /jm", the application doesn't do complete install for the User. Although the application launches, it doesn't complete the install.
I've used both FileMon and RegMon to track where permissions may be denied but it is to no avail.
Is there any sepcific way I can troubleshoot such an error?
