TrueCrypt applicaiton prompting UAC while launching shortcut.
Hi All,
I have captured the TrueCrypt application using InstallShield repackager tool. And compiled to create MSI.
Installation goes fine, but while launching the shortcut it is prompting UAC even though applying shims. Kindly assist me if anyone encountered similar issue.

You shouldn't use TrueCrypt anymore as it's broken - which means the encryption is broken/has a security flaw. Bit of shame as it was a good product.

You should check out VeraCrypt, this is the replacement open source project for TC (which is now discontinued.)
Its been ages since i've used TC, but I'm pretty sure you cant get around he UAC issue, this is because, I think, it loads a low level kernel driver to do the encrypting and decrypting.
