Visio 2002 SP2 and ORK XP

Has anyone performed a slipstreamed SP2 administrative install of Visio 2002 then tried to use ORK for Office XP to customize it?

Right now I cannot get ORK from Office XP to work with the MSI at all but if I use ORK from Office 2003 it will give me a warning that the MSI is not supported but still let me customize it.

I am just wondering if this is the way things should work or has something horribly gone wrong.

Never mind. I think I blew it up by trying to recycle the old setup.ini.

Ok building everything from scratch fixed the standard version but the pro version still refuses to be customized by the ORK XP. So if you have experienced anything like this I'd like to know.

I think I got around the issue with Pro by using the ORK for 2003. I get a warning message that this is a bad idea but it seems to work so far...

Using ORK to customize, I presume you mean the CIW (Custom Installation Wizard).

Check you are using the correct product key for that specific Select CD.

We had problems with applying service packs to the Visio AIP. Kept getting error messages and we had to use the shortfilenames switch.

cheers
