Visual Studio 6

Sorry i'm kind of new to this...
I'm am trying to make a silent install of Microsoft Visual Studio 6 on a Windows 2003 server and i got a problem...
I get an error message saying that the application SMSINST.EXE is incompatible with Windows 2003... So, i can't start the setup this way.
Also, i need to install it in another folder than the "Program Files" folder. I can launch the setup via the ACMBOOT.EXE setup but i can't seem to find how to create a response file...
Can someone please help me.... ???
