VMWare and snapshots...
We are hapily using VMWare Workstation 4 (the latest version avail today) and it works great. Im sure you guys are aware of it.... BUT
After dozens of snapshots with both NT4SP6a hosts and WinXPSP1 hosts, I may have found one problem. For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to package Blackberry 3.x. The install of the download crashes at first launch within VMWare, but NEVER on the guest machine.
Very weird, so it scared me to think that I may have said that an application is not XP-compatible simply because it failed to install/launch on the VMWare session.
Has anyone else seen something similar?
PS: I was able to successfully package Blackberry 3.6 SP2 using SMSInstaller 2.0 while NOT in a VMWare session.
