What is TARGETDIR & SOURCEDIR mean?
I have set the permissions for the folder Sample (which contains the MSI files) as read access to non privileged user and read, write, execute access to administrator. I have set the permissions in LockPermission table. But still the non-admin can't do a self repair.
Can anyone help me in this?
What does TARGETDIR AND SOURCEDIR mean in Directory table?

I would hope that you used google as the #1 search for "targetdir" gave me:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372064(VS.85).aspx
and the #1 search for "sourcedir" gave me:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372064(VS.85).aspx
I hate that it would of taken you longer to type the message asking for the information than typing in www.google.com and "sourcedir" :p
If you did but didnt understand what was being said then that is different and you should say as such!

Bhuvan, we try really hard to be helpful here but to be honest with you, I for one am losing patience with this. Are you completely unable to use the help files provided with your authoring tool? If you are, presumably you're able to use Google or any of the other search engines? What about AppDeploy's own search facility? This may well be my last response to one of these queries. I'm minded to stop helping people who refuse to help themselves.
So, Google...search term (including quotes) "Windows Installer" +TARGETDIR gets me http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372064(VS.85).aspx
"Windows Installer" +SOURCETDIR gets me http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa371857(VS.85).aspx
Entering 'TARGETDIR' (no quotes) into AppDeploy's search page gets me 3 pages worth, 66 hits.
As I've said, I'm considering whether to stop responding to basic queries like this. Please, use the tools available to you before posting here.
