What's the newest version of AppDeploy?
Is it truly 1.2 from 2010?

If you're looking for something better, then its £££
Check out Installshield, you can just buy Installshields and Repackager - you just need to talk to a sales person that knows what they are on about. Most are dumb and try and sell you a package (Adminstudio)
Pace - I've heard thats ok and well priced, never used it.
Ray Pack - I've heard thats ok and well priced, never used it.
Dell Changebase is awful, don't waste your money.
App Deploy Repack is great for free, probably needs some love.

I use Adminstudio. I think I tired to look at RayPack but there's no eval or easily accessible eval.
