Windows Installer Error 1918 For SQL Server Visual FoxPro
Received the following error from a user when installing a client server app with front end in VFP 8 and back end in sql server 2000.
Error 1918. Error Installing ODBC Driver SQL Server ODBC Error 13. Could not load the setup or translator library. Verify that the file SQL Server exists and that you can access it.
Can anyone make a suggestion ?

Have you tried re-installing MDAC? If not, I would start there.

I figured out earlier today that the Install Shield Limited Version that ships with VFP 8 uses the MDAC 2.5 SP2 merge module.
I was able to download the MDAC 2.8 merge module and recreate my setup thereby fixing this issue.
