Winzip 19.0 requires IE8?
It seems latest Winzip 19.0.11293 requires IE8 or above. Anyone found this documented anywhere in WinZip official site?
Thanks

I too have come up against this PROBLEM
I do not wish higher than IE 6 in my XP as that would cause serious problems, when I later decide to move my OS to a replacement PC
( When my oldish PC dies, I can Restore a recent image into a replacement PC. The trick is to NOT run the replacement PC, until you use the XP Install CD to do a 'Repair Install'. That allows the correction of the drivers. PS Don't use the Recovery Console 'Repair' )
If there is a more recent IE present in your image, the 'Repair Install' thinks it is IE6 and then tries to repair it. That makes a small mess, and the OS will never run problem free, again.
The lazy programmers probably found it easier to cater for some new feature, by coding just for IE8. What the install should do, is offer to cripple that feature, and thus allow us to install Winzip, with only IE6 present
