Wise Package to Remove App

Made an MSI with Wise Package Studio 7 SP2 that removes an application installed using Install Sheild..

The package is done and works lovely! Doesn't show up in add/remove programs list, but does show as an installed Windows Installer Product.

Is there a known option to not list itself as an installed product?

Thanks!

You need to remove the product registration (standard) actions.
Maybe the easiest method for you would be to use msizap to just flush the metadata.

So if I comment out the following lines in the Execute Deferred section of MSI Script it should do the trick?

/* RegisterUser
/* RegisterProduct

Thanks,

Okay, recompiled and some-how it's back out of the add/remove list.. Still registers as installed though. What is the method to "remove the product registration (standard) actions."

Thanks for the help!

Delete the registry keys on uninstall.

Comment-out or condition-out the RegisterUser and RegisterProduct actions.
