Wist Studio 8 1 big feature-multiple cabs
Hello all
I am capturing a very huge installation. It ends up with more than 2 gigs and Wise captures everything in a single feature with shortcuts outside.
When compiling, since it is greater than 2 gigs it fails. Is there an easy way to tell Wise to create multiple cabs even if there is a single feature or I absolutely need to stripe my installation in multiple features and set the cabs to 1 per feature setting?
Thanks

I am currently working in an app-v / msi windows 7 environment where the apps we are packaging are large ie 2GB to 5GB
I have recently packaged an app that is 2.69 GB with over 128,000 files and over 26,000 folders ( this was captured with wise 8.0)
you can use 2 options on the media page
1) you can compress your files external
2) or you can create external cab files with the option one cab per feature
NB - to use option 2 you might need to break the feature down and create new features and then move components around
