XLUSRGAL.xls overwrite problem?
I have just received an in-house developed application to deploy which contains a file called XLUSRGAL.xls in its .msi installation.
I believe this is a potiential problem in that because the .msi install file overwrites any existing XLUSRGAL.xls with it's own.
If I have understood what I have been reading up on various websites correctly any previous addin settings contained in the XLUSRGAL.xls will be lost.
What is the correct way this XLUSRGAL.xls file should be added to? Or any advise or previous experience would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Naffcat,
I am still not clear as to what you want to do with this file. There are the following possibilities.
a) If there is an existing file, then you would not want to change or overwrite it.
b) whatever be the case, you will wish to overwrite it.
Tell me what you want to do to this file and i will help you out accordingly..
