Note
In addition to the very valuable information jholliday provided above, be advised that you will not even know those registry keys were created if, like me, you make a habit of beginning your capture AFTER all the InstallShield pre-install routines have completed. It appears to me that those keys are created during the IS routines, and not during the install of PageMaker itself.

Note
Normally when installing Adobe Pagemaker 7, it asks you to install Adobe Distiller 7.0.2 which comes on the CD. This is an MSI and can be deployed along side the msi you created for Pagemaker. 1 modification is needed.

Open up Distiller msi and go to custom actions and remove the CustomInstallType custom action.

Note
If you use ZENworks Snapshot. You can get a good install. after you take the snapshot don't reboot. Process the snapshot first. After your done go into the app object and add into the registry the following to remove the nag registration screen for all users.

Note
To deploy PageMaker 7.0 to a newer version of Windows, you will need to include MSVCP50.DLL. The simplest way of doing this is to copy it from an installation of Windows XP or to extract it from a Windows XP install disk, and then place the file in the \Program Files\Adobe\PageMaker 7.0\ directory. A better solution, of course, is to install the Visual C++ 5.0 runtime libraries properly, but since they are difficult to find anymore, simply including a copy in the executable directory feels like a reasonable solution for this old software.
