  • This worked for DWG Viewer 2013 x64 as well with the caveat that .NET 4.0 Framework needs to be in place before running. - jriekse5555 12 years ago

After installation, setup launches again the first time the application is executed by each user. If the user has administrative rights, the setup completes once all the prerequisite files have been copied to their profile. If not, the application fails to start.

Virtualization
For months we have tried to sequence this package and every time we were not successfully. Before sequence you delete the exclusions and start monitoring of the setup than it will work without any issues.

Don't forget to add the DWG file associations after package has been imported in App-V server.

Application will not install without installing Direct X 9. But a new version of Direct X (version 11) is part of Windows 7. So conflict will happen.

Note
Application will not install without installing Direct X 9. But a new version of Direct X (version 11) is part of windows 7. So conflict will happen
To solve this DX 11 entry need to be added in Launch condition

1.In Signature table create and Signature D3DFILE11 and point it to the file d3d11.dll

2.Create and entry in DrLocator Table with Signature value as D3DFILE11 and give the value of the column path as [SystemFolder]

3.Create an entry in AppSearch table with Property as D3DAPP11 and Signature as D3DFILE11

4.Add D3DAPP11 in Launch condition with OR value along with D3DAPP9 which is present in the table previously

5.Create a batch file to install the VC++ Redist Msi first and then the DWG Msi along with the transform.
