Note
To disable the automatic check for updates, add the following 2 registry keys either as part of your custom install, the MSI directly, or an MST.

HKLM\Software\Autodesk\Design Review\Settings\AutoUpdate
DWORD: InitialCheck = 1
DWORD: DoNotShowAgain = 1

it's still possible to manually check, but the users wont' be pestered by an automatic check when they start up.

Note
Execute SetupDWGTrueView2008_FRA.exe (for french version) for decompress the sofware.

In temporary folder copy all the folder created by the executing of SetupDWGTrueView2008_FRA.exe in a network folder (For exemple folder named DWG).

Cancel the installation.

Open the file named setup.ini in the DWG folder.
Modify the line UI_MODE=SILENT in the Setup section
If you want you can change the destination of the .log files.

For Installing use the setup.exe program. This install the other composants if necessary (MSXML 6, Framework, Mdac ...)

Command Line
Download the program from here: SetupDWGTrueView.exe. The download is a little over 128MB.

You can open this download using your favorite ZIP program. Extract all the files and the MSI file is there.

The string for your BAT or script file will be:

MSIEXEC /i "\\server\share\DWGVIEWR.msi" /l*v %temp%\DWGTrueView.log /qb!

NOTE: You may need to install other components prior to running this silent install. For example, without .NET 2.0, the DWG TrueView silent install will fail

with an "Internal Error 2337". You can silently install .NET 2.0 with this string:

\\server\share\support\dotnetfx\dotnetfx.exe /q /c:"install /l /qn"
