GoldCare is a Health care mgmt application

If the defaults suit you, you can use the EXE directly:

"%~DP0gcs20070136.exe" /s /v"REBOOT=RS /l*v \"%LOGS%\CAMPANA_GOLDCARE_2007_1_36.log\" "

If, however, you want a desktop Icon, Campana bungled the MSI to make this hard for you.

To force a desktop shortcut, I tried the following properties by themselves and in combinations. None of which worked.
DesktopShortcut=1
MAKEDESKTOPSHORTCUT=1
MAKEASHORTCUT=Yes
MakeAShortcut=yes
AUTOUPDATE=0 (This is the condition in the feature to create the shortcut and satisfying the condition did not work!)

These properties were obtained by examining the MSI but all were useless to create a shortcut on the desktop.

Solution: Create a transform in ORCA to remove the condition:
Edit goldcare.MSi
Tools menu-> New Transform
In the "Component" table:
for the "DesktopShortcut" component,
Remove the AUTOUPDATE=0 Condition
Set the attribute to 8
In the "Properties" table:
REBOOT=RS (have to do this here because IS in known to ignore Properties from the CMD line if a transform is used)
Tools menu-> Generate transform
File menu-> save as CAMPANA_GOLDCARE_2007_1_36.mst

#2- Install the Application
"%~DP0msiexec.exe" /i "%~DP0GoldCare.msi" TRANSFORMS="%~DP0\CAMPANA_GOLDCARE_2007_1_36.mst" /l*v "%TEMP%\CAMPANA_GOLDCARE_2007_1_36.log" /qf

Note: Have to use /QF or /QN for InstallShield (/QB and /QR do not work in InstallShield's world)
