The AnyConnect VPN Module is required, the other packages are optional This little guide wil focus on the "AnyConnect VPN Module" pack.

To configure AnyConnect, create the follwing folder structure "\Profile\vpn" in the same folder where the "anyconnect-win-3.0.0629-pre-deploy-k9.msi" file is located. Then copy your configuration file "AnyConnectProfile.xml" to this directory.

The AnyConnectProfile.xml file should contain the following lines (Replace: VPNHOSTNAME and VPNHOSTADDRESS with your companys info):
<HostName>VPNHOSTNAME</HostName>
<HostAddress>VPNHOSTADDRESS</HostAddress>
</HostEntry>

The CustomAction "ProfileImport" Will make sure that the xml file is being copied to the client.
(Action: "InstallHelper.exe -copyFiles "[SOURCEDIR]Profiles\vpn\\" "[New_Folder_2_DIR]\Profile\\" "*.xml"")

To Disable automatic startup of the VPN Client, remove the following registry key from the "MainFeature" feature:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

Batch File 1:
msiexec /package anyconnect-win-"version"-pre-deploy-k9.msi /norestart /passive /lvx* anyconnect-websecurity-"version"-pre-deploy-k9-install-datetimestamp.log
Above batch file installs the windows client with progressbar. Be sure to put "your profile.xml" in the correct folder directory after extracting the install files.

Batch File 2:
start "Cisco Anyconnect Client" "c:\program files\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\vpnui.exe" /MIN
Above batch file will launch the client and put the icon in the lower right tray.

Note

After installing the AnyConnect client and connecting to the ASA for the first time, the system received the default XML. I renamed it and put it my MST in the CommonAppDataFolder\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile directory and it installed great.
