You cannot create a transform(MST) file with Wise/AdminStudio for the current v10 Citrix client. The issue has been identified by Citrix and will be fixed on v10.1, if you still want to create a transform you must use ORCA and edit the properties.

Note
As it is at the moment impossible to create an MST with Wise 7.0SP2 for Citrix ICA Client 10.1, I could find a solution that may help you.

You can download Installshield Admin Studio 7.5 for evaluation and with the Tuner (equivalent to Install Tailor in Wise), you can easily create the MST as usual... just a bit more complicated to modify/customize the MST (Use Tuner and Editor to manage the created MST)

Note
I kept getting an error on install to an MNT dir. Went on to VFS the install which works fine.

TIP: Even if the company doesn't yet have a Web Interface it's a good idea to add IE with a company logo shortcut. This can be activated later on with the WI added as a parameter.

"Failed to open document error message when opening a package containing a UTF8 code page".

This issue with opening the msi file is now solved with the "KB_33095_Hotfix.zip" for WPS 7.0. It can be downloaded from Altiris/Wise or here.

Although you can you use AdminStudio to create an MST from 10.1, if you try to add a custom .reg file (as we do), the installer will simply ignore it.

Note
In the ICA client 10.200 you can chose the language with LANGID=1036 and after you can destroy all repertory in Citrix/resource which are note needed by your language.
In fact you have only 3 repertories in your share.

Note
Single-sign on breaks if you do an unattended installation. Previously, you could use appsrv.src to pre-populate the single-sign on parameters for new users, but this no lnoger works. I phoned Citrix and they said that the preferred method is to use Group Policy. This is much better as updating .ini files was a bit of a pain anyway.

To get the .adm file, install the Citrix Program Neighborhood client, then use the file from here:

%ProgramFiles%\citrix\ica client\configuration\icaclient.adm

Below is a KB article from Citrix explaining the new preferred method:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX112957

How to Configure Version 10.x of the Presentation Server Client Using the Icaclient.adm Template

To configure version 10.x of the Presentation Server Client for Windows using Windows Group Policies, Citrix has created a Group Policy template called icaclient.adm with 23 Citrix-specific rules used to lock down the Presentation Server Client.

These configurations are used to modify the behavior of the Program Neighborhood Agent, Program Neighborhood, and the Web client.

Use this method for client preconfiguration in lieu of modifying the .ini files on the Presentation Server Client.

Procedure

Import the template into the Group Policy Object Editor using Active Directory Users and Computers or using the Local Group Policy snap-in.

Configure the Group Policy object (GPO) rules.

Customizing the language can be a little tricky...

The v10 client is using a single install package for all languages. The repective MSI command line property option is:

LANG=;<lang_id>;

where lang_id is one of the following:

• EN = 1033

• DE = 1031

• ES = 3082

• FR = 1036

• JA = 1041

• zh-CN = 2052

• zh-TW = 1028
