ConeXware offer a prepackaged MSI format installer at http://www.powerarchiver.com/download/pamsi/
The directory is not readable, but you can download files from there by appending the filename to the URL. for example, to download version 9.25 of PowerArchiver you can use:
If using the standard exe distribution you can use the following command line switches:
/verysilent - completely silent installation, it
will restart computer silently if needed
/norestart - Installer will not restart computer
even if required after installation
By default PowerArchiver stores it settings at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerArchiver, but will also read them from
HKEY_LOCAL_MCHINE\Software\PowerArchiver, in which case these settings will over-ride any user settings.
Registered name and registration key can be stored at
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PowerArchiver\General]
"Regname"="xxx"
"Regnumber"="xxx"
in which case they will be applied to all users of the machine.
PowerArchiver 2004 V9.01.01 repacked with InstallShield Repackager.
This is a very easy repack and can be done using the "Installation Monitoring" method. After the application setup has finished you can clean up extraneous shortcuts and run the program to set what you would like to be the default settings for new users.
Tested and verified as working on Windows XP SP2 standalone and via GPO to Windows XP SP2 in a Windows 2000 SP4 domain.
