There are several command line switches you can use with Netsetup.exe and Setup.exe.
/Loglevel=[level] = Specifies the level of logging to be done by the Setup program. Specify one of the following levels: 0 = Fatal errors, 1 = Critical errors, 2 = Warnings (default setting), 3 = Debug messages, 4 = Informational messages , 5 = Success messages
Each level includes the messages or errors of the lower levels. The default logging level is 2, which logs warnings, critical errors, and fatal errors. Please note, log level can also be set at time of distribution with Corel Distribute Manager.
/NoIcons = Suppresses the creation of icons during an installation. For example, use this switch when installing under Novell Application Launcher™ (NAL) so that NAL can control the icons.
/SetFile=[”full path to set file]\[set filename”] = Identifies the .set file to be used for this installation. Use this switch if you have more than one Corel application suite installed on the same server. Specify the full path name of the .set file, and enclose the path name in quotation marks.
/RSPFile=[”full path to response file]\[response filename”] = Identifies the response file (.rsp) used to control an installation. Specify the full path name for the response file, and enclose the full name in quotations. Response files are text files that are created each time Setup is run or through the Application Management tool “Create a Response File for Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 Setup.” A response file is used to force setup selections and does not allow any user input.
/Silent = Suppresses all Setup dialogs including error messages. Requires the /RSPFile switch. Use this switch to run Setup with no user interaction and with third-party software distribution packages to push distribution.
/CreateRSP=[”full path to response file]\[response filename”] = Runs Setup in order to create a response file, but without performing an installation. Specify the full path and filename of the .rsp file, and enclose the full name in quotation marks.
/LogFile=[”full path to log file]\[log filename”] = Identifies the name of the log file to be created during installation. Specify the full path name for the log file (.log), and enclose the full name in quotations.
/ShortOnly = Short filenames are used automatically on devices that donÂ’t support long filenames. To force the use of short filenames on a device that supports long names, use this switch.
/CopyVerify = Performs a byte-by-byte comparison of every file copied. A message is logged for any files that donÂ’t copy correctly. Please note, this process is extremely slow.
